This is a shochu made with both rice and sake lees. Named "Yamahotaru", it evokes the multitude of fireflies that fly around Asagiri Town in early summer, and is beloved for its fruity yet gentle taste.
Due to a longer than usual fermentation period, it cannot be produced in large quantities.
