Vividly fresh and brimming with determination, this expression unveils an aromatic and gustatory profile that deepens and grows more intricate with every sip. Seamlessly interwoven, its fruity, floral, herbal, and spicy elements occasionally reveal subtle peat and delicate wisps of smoke, essential to its harmony and enduring character.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Green gold.
Nose: Fresh and complex. Sophisticated aromas of linden, mint, and verbena dominate the initial bouquet. As it evolves, notes of malt, medicinal hints (benzoin, musk), and refined fruits like kiwi and green apple emerge. Gentle traces of smoke enhance the aromas of candied lemon, juicy pear, and pistachio, alongside a pleasant herbal and saline bitterness.
Palate: Vibrant and elegant. A delicate combination of vanilla, sage, and acacia honey leads to a soft tannic texture (barley grain, white grape skin) with vegetal nuances of cut hay and chlorophyll. The mid-palate reveals verdant tones of chartreuse and absinthe. Aquatic hints evoke water lilies, reeds, bellflowers, and sorrel, painting a serene riverside scene.
Finish: Long and refreshing. Vanilla and warming spices (ginger, cinnamon) open the finish, complemented by notes of tobacco and lemon balm. Towards the end, malted barley mingles with green banana and aromatic herbs like wild thyme and chervil. Airy yet smooth, the retro-olfaction brings forward flavors of green tea, anise, and artichoke heart. The empty glass delights with malty, minty, praline, and iridescent aromas.
