HAMPDEN 11 Year Old 2010 LROK, 47% ABV

Hampden Estate is renowned for crafting a diverse range of distillates. By adjusting factors such as fermentation duration and the inclusion of dunder, the distillery produces distinct types of rum known as “marks.”  

LROK, which stands for Light Rum Owen Kelly, is one of the many marks created at Hampden Estate. It refers to a rum with a high ester concentration, ranging from 200 to 400 g/hLPA. Established in 1952, this mark falls under the Wedderburn category, which encompasses heavy rums.  

The Hampden Estate 2010 LROK was aged for 11 years in Jamaica’s tropical climate, a period equivalent to nearly 44 years of maturation in European conditions.
